I launched my new business David Simpson Photography in March 2017, having always wanted to turn my passion for taking photographs into a business. I am a professional Nikon camera and elinchrome lighting user, as this equipment offers me the best possible quality and reliability in any situation.
I love the technical side of the art, and believe that creating the image is not enough - it needs to be printed for display. The pleasure of handling and seeing images printed and displayed is important to me. I enjoy building a rapport with the people I photograph. Seeing their chosen images hanging on their walls, or reproduced in a high-quality album or book for them to thumb through at their leisure, makes my work very satisfying.
